To the Heritage Homes Family,

First and foremost, I hope that you and your family are staying safe and protected. The spread of COVID-19 has resulted in extraordinary disruptions to our daily lives. Heritage Homes’ central priority is the health and safety of The Heritage Homes Family and our surrounding community.

Heritage Homes is happy to report that we will continue our operations, on a limited basis. The Department of Homeland Security listed Residential Construction as “Essential Infrastructure Business.” Many or most of our employees are working remotely, and our construction department is continuing to work - practicing recommended social distancing and appropriate hygiene.

SALES: All Heritage Homes offices remain closed to walk-in traffic including current customers. Our sales staff continues to work. The telephone lines are monitored as usual, and email communication continues. Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Houk reports, “We are still working with lots of customers. I’m working on estimates for several prospects, and I’ve signed a few contracts through email. We have a brochure box out front, or we can always mail a brochure.” Sales enquires can be made by calling the sales line (Alabama or Mississippi 251-666-3950 and Florida 850-477-0006); corresponding via live chat on our website www.heritagehomesfamily.com; or by emailing khardin@heritagehomesfamily.com (Alabama/Mississippi) or mhouk@heritagehomesfamily.com (Florida). Our Team is also happy to set up a Zoom Meeting with you so we can communicate face to face and share our screen as we talk about your new home.

Questions from our current customers who have not yet started should be emailed to fbolton@heritagehomesfamily.com.

CONSTRUCTION: Construction continues in the field, although things have slowed down slightly as crews practice amplified safety precautions. The inspectors are still working, but also have special protocols. Non-essential meetings are being deferred until such a time can be deemed safe for all parties. Homeowners should continue to call, email or text the Superintendent. Construction Manager John Edge reports, “Construction resumes on all houses. The pace is slower with all involved being cautious, but we continue to work as safe as possible. We have closed a few houses over the last two weeks, and we continue to start and pour new slabs with the intent of maintaining the Heritage Homes Construction Process, as normal as possible.”

WARRANTY: Non-emergency warranty visits and scheduled warranty work will be suspended until it is deemed safe. Emergency visits and repairs will continue to be performed if possible. Email warranty@heritagehomesfamily.com for warranty questions.

I cannot thank our employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for their patience and ability to adapt. These people are the Heritage Homes Family. During times of crisis, families bond together. We’ll get through this.

Sincerely, Frank Lott President
